Sinopse: Já se passou um ano desde a ”Rebelião Negra“, liderada por Zero, um mascarado terrorista que lutava pela independência do Japão/Área 11, que havia sido dominado pelo sagrado império da Brittania. Depois do grande estardalhaço causado por Zero (que havia sido dado como morto), Brittania começou a tratar os japoneses/elevens com muito mais rigorosidade e até escravidão, para evitar futuros problemas.Lelouch Lamperouge é um jovem estudante brittanian da Academia Ashford, e vive uma vida normal com seu irmão mais novo, Rollo. Apesar de ter uma pequena impressão de que existe algo de errado, continua a levar sua vida como qualquer estudante da Brittania.Um dia, acaba se metendo no meio de um ataque terrorista e encontra uma misteriosa mulher de cabelos verdes, que se denomina C.C. Depois de alguns acontecimentos, Lelouch finalmente se lembra de seu verdadeiro passado como Zero acordando seu Geass, e decide continuar a rebelião que havia começado um ano atrás, com o objetivo de recriar o mundo distorcido pela guerra e subalterno à Brittania.
